Our range of Amethyst Geode Cathedrals or Caves is available in Sydney for local pickup.

To get an idea of how beautiful this large amethyst geode cave is, click play on the video below. We've tried to capture all the ways light shimmers in and around the crystal points.

Also, click on the images we have taken on this page. We tried to get as many angles as possible.

Twin chamber Amethyst Geode Cave

What makes this crystal an absolute show-stopper is the double chamber cave. This one was mined in Brazil and is made up of 2 different Geode caves.

The top cave section is made up of smaller amethyst points and the bottom chamber is made up of larger amethyst points.

Imagine having this in your home or office. It will instantly give a feeling of strength, power and beauty. People will be genuinely curious and astounded at the same time.

Where would you place this Amethyst Geode Cave in your Sydney home or business?

We find people have them in their home for various reasons, as a centrepiece, in the foyer as you walk in, beside the TV, in the dining lounge or in the bedroom.

The Amethyst Crystal Geodes are so beautiful they would look great anywhere in your home.

Some hotels in Sydney and corporate offices in Sydney have them in their foyer or reception.

Perhaps you own a massage studio, hairdressing salon or chiropractic surgery and want to impress your clients.

How was this Amethyst Geode Cave formed?

Not many people know this but Geode caves are formed as a result of volcanoes erupting. Over time, the lava flowing from the volcanoes cools down and small, medium and large bubbles form.

These trapped bubbles then have water and silica and various minerals creating magic inside these lava bubbles. Over a very long period of time, this 'magic' is busy creating what you see today.

To extract these beautiful geode caves, miners drill a small hole and put a camera in there to see if the geode is worth extracting. If it is good, then the whole geode is extracted.

Once extracted from the caves, it is cut in two and half of the result is what you see on this page. Pretty amazing hey.

What are Amethyst crystals used for?

Amethyst is one of the most popular crystals. It is considered a crystal of protection, selflessness, nobleness, spiritual consciousness, meditativeness, balance and inner peace. It is a great stone for meditation and enhancing your intuition.
