As kids, life used to be simple. We could enjoy the simple pleasures in life, play until it got dark, sit down to a family dinner and then hit they hey for the night. But as we get older, we get more responsibilities, job pressures and people who cause us stress. Before long, we are feeling stressed, anxious and burning the candle at both ends.
Today, I'm going to talk about crystals for stress relief, panic attacks and ways you can reduce stress naturally.
According to Beyond Blue, Anxiety affects one in four people in Australia. And, in a 12-month period, over two million Australian's experience anxiety.
But it goes even deeper. According to the results of Australia's Biggest Mental Health Check-In, '36 per cent of respondents suffered from depression, 33 per cent from anxiety and 31 per cent from stress.'
You are no doubt already aware that you can get a range of over the counter and doctor-prescribed drugs to calm your nerves.
But, the very fact you are on this blog and looking for healing crystals for stress, means you don't want to be taking medication every day.
Further to this, certain medications can have a direct impact on your gut microbiome. And, taking it one step further, research is now out suggesting your gut bacteria might influence depression.
The bottom line is, your body has an incredible array of natural healing mechanisms built in.
And, when combined with the power and healing benefits of crystals, you can get on top of those stressed out feelings.
Every crystal carries with it a specific vibrational energy.

The bottom line is, unmanaged stress causes our body issues, negatively impacting our health.
Further to this, people who tend to have a high level of stress tend to get sick more frequently.
One remedy suggested is to learn how to stay grounded in the present and breathe.
When you are stressed, your fight or flight kicks in.
You need to control that.
Grab your favourite crystals, sit quietly and slow down your breathing.
Dr Greenberg suggests getting into a state of mindfulness, by focusing on the present.
I like to use crystals as an anchor.
When you go into this mindfulness state, you are holding your crystal.
By doing this regularly, your crystal becomes your anchor to access the mindfulness state quickly.
Every time you pick up your crystal, take a few controlled, steady breathe and focus on the present, your mind creates a deeper, more powerful circuit.
This circuit in your mind can then be accessed more quickly next time you feel stressed and reach for your crystal.
